so i am compiling up asterisk 1.2.15 for another host that will terminate the SIP calls from the public via our TRIP assignment suspicious dot org. Suspicious.org has the assignment of 422, so we will map a few extensions that allow inbound calls from the public internet.

I would rather not send the calls to my asterisk at home, (i dont have a static IP), so it’s much easier to send them to the suspicious server, and then run an IAX trunk back to my home asterisk setup.

The news has been interesting lately; Bush states that Iran is supplying weapons to the Iraqi militants. Lots of folks running for political office in the USA. Japanese whaling ships on fire, and need I even say Anna Nicole Smith? Getting little news highlights to the desktop would be cool, but I think way too distracting for me. It’s bad enough that email causes enough distractions, but combine that with blackberry and the phone; I don’t think I could finish a sentence.

I wonder when the Chumby will be out?
