flying out again
Over at Melbourne international again in the Air NZ lounge. Just enjoying the dinner, fish and chips to answer your question. Yes, the broadband is good, and its a good thing that I remembered to bring my retractable ethernet cable. Very handy in this regard. Can’t wait to get back to NZ, enjoy a bit of next week just around the house. Tuesday is a holiday in victoria, so I will have to take that off, and I will do this in Wellington this time.
I was able to get GST refund on the suit that I bought out in Richmond a few weeks back. I wore it so that I did not need to carry it in a suit case.
Next week a bunch of the guys from work are going to Sydney to get training on the Juniper MX-series. A really incredible box if you ask me.
lftp is completely the bomb. The best ftp/sftp/ftp-tls program you could ask for, unless of course you are looking for a gui application. I just used lftp to resume a mirror of some rar files that I had started a few days ago, and using it over sftp was an absolute charm, an excellent unix application that exemplifies the way of quality unix software.
