trying out wordpress — Truman Boyes

for over a year now i have used the gracious bits of code provided on blogspot to host my site. when moving things around between the various suspicious servers, it made sense to just choose a free site that worked well. well, pretty much everything has moved to the new server, so i thought i would try out wordpress as both a CMS and a engine to do it all for the site.

as i have very little demands on site construction ( i am not a web developer ), i think this will suffice in the near term.

it was almost too easy to setup. i used phpmyadmin to create the db, and then set some permissions, tweak some settings in a php file, and then just browse to my wordpress site. so far so good.
