Fat Freddy's Drop and Back to the fluffy clouds

By Truman Boyes · · 1 min read

On the weekend, walked over to Waitangi park to catch a good concert by Fat Freddy's Drop. Real nice to see them live. Big thanks to Paul for the tickets!

Had a good time there; had a Tuatara pilsner, and then took a walk home before the crowd let out.

This week I have a lot on my plate. More chapter writing on the BRAS book, (looks like we almost have a title for the book), and a few interesting yet very fluffy things at work going on. Time to get these things settled, or at least understood in terms of reality.

Going to listen to some J Dilla produced tracks this week and take in his musical genius. RIP J.

Oh yeah, and rewrote the SAM file on a win32 laptop that I have laying around. Knoppix 3.9 let me mount the NTFS partition, then downloaded chntpw, compiled it up, and deleted the password. Awesome. Now a have a IBM X40 all set to run some crazy VMWARE images that I plan to use for development and training purposes.

Might go down to Magnum Mac and pickup Keynote. I have a presentation later this week to some marketing ppl. Keynote should do the trick ;)

Time for sleep ...
