Happy New Years

Happy New Years Everyone, and wishing everyone the best in 2005.
It was strange to watch Dick Clark's Rocking New Years without Dick Clark. Regis held it down though. It's pretty refreshing to spend a New Years at home instead of packed like a sardine in an club or some dive bar.
I spent today arguing with a fraudulent company that operated in a few shopping malls in New Jersey. They sold self contained game consoles that housed, "72 games". What they did not mention was that the systems are broken for the most part, and that of the 72 games, probably 20 are unique. The rest of the game titles are bizarre, for example "Frogger" has nothing to do with the classic game where you are frog and jump from log to log, to get to the other side. Instead, the game was some strange super mario like game where you shoot japanese characters out of your mouth and somehow the kanji kills enemies like birds. Strange! So I asked for a refund politely after tracking down the parent company in California. I then told numerous prospective consumers that the product is crap and that the advertising is false. One thing that really pissed me off was that their "Battle Space" which is really Konami's 80's classic "Super Contra" does not accept the UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A SELECT START...
When I get back out to HongKong I will be sure to go for the good stuff...
Oh yeah and my resolution; well I am skipping on something to resolve. Instead as a goal, I am going to write a book that I have been planning.
Hope you are all having a smashing good time ...
